I'm Feeling 24!

Image
Let me tell you, I have been incredibly spoiled this year for my birthday. I feel so blessed to have celebrated with my husband, my family, and my friends. There has been a lot of craziness so I haven't been able to dedicate a lot of time to the blog, but I decided that I should give you all an update that I'm officially an adult!! I think I realized that I was getting older when I turned 23 last year. This is due to the fact that I could no longer sing the Taylor Swift song 22. No one cares about us mid twenty something people! Maybe there is a song out for us somewhere! The festivities started last week because my Dad was able to come out and visit my husband and I in Pennsylvania. I felt honored even though his main incentive was the pigeon even that he was judging (If you didn't know, my father raises pigeons). If you ever want to learn something really cool, listen to my dad talk about pigeons. If you ever want to laugh, just look at the number of pigeon photos are...

Emotional Eating: A Prompt

Image
Let me tell you... I've never exactly been an emotional eater, but I'm definitely a person that eats when they are bored. I am also a person that normally does not buy junk food, but when we have it in the house, its as if I've never tasted a candy bar in my entire life. I become the niffler from Fantastic Beasts, just taking and eating everything that I see. Sadly, you cannot turn me upside down and steal all the candy bars back. Instead, they go right to my arms, abdomen, and thighs! In the last month and a half, I have been doing a 30 day journal challenge where I answer a prompt/question on a daily basis. The people who created the journal challenge stated that by the end I should have a better relationship with food. Located below is the list of questions. After reading through the questions, I will give a general synopsis and evaluation of this challenge. I will even give you a glimpse into my own journal (ooh, ahh!)  MY THOUGHTS/RESPONSES I am normally pre...

11 Best Songs of the Fall Season!

Image
Music is something that I truly love and enjoy! I normally have some kind of playlist playing at all times and I love finding new bands and songs to jam to! I like pretty much every type of music, but during the fall I'm definitely loving the indie/pop/calm/rock vibes. Here are 11 specific songs that I think you might enjoy this fall season! The list is in no certain order, so you can pick and choose on what sounds better to you. I did list a snippet of some lyrics, a YouTube link, and some notes from myself concerning the songs. I'm not the best at describing music, but I tried! ENJOY! Vancouver Sleep Clinic- Someone to Stay Lyric Snippet : Hear you, falling and lonely, cry out, Will you fix me up? Will you show me hope? At the end of the day it will help us. Can you keep me close?  YouTube Link :  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAu6y6uBqPc This is a very calm/melancholy song that just pulls at your heart strings! The song would be beautiful without the lyr...

What Would You Lie For? A REVIEW

Image
Welcome back everyone! I am so thankful for all the views that I have been getting so far with my blog! Let me know if there is ever something that you guys are wanting to see! I started a blog notebook, and I have been jotting down different ideas! Today we are going over something new and a little different. If you know me at all, you will know that I LOVE TO READ!!!!! When I was younger I would read a certain number of books during the school year and summer, and the next year I would read even more than the previous year. After starting college, I didn't have the time to read for fun and that made me very sad... even though I was a big nerd reading everything in my textbooks. Yes, you can laugh at me! I will not deny that I love learning and reading!! Today we are going to start a blogging series where I read (convenient, right) and then I will review the book, and/or I will also give some questions that will aid in a book discussion or book club. We are really racking in tho...
