10 Facts About Us!

I was going to title this 10 things I hate about you, but I thought that was a little negative. Let's instead call this post 10 Facts about us! I need to get a little more creative with these titles. :)

Since this blog is only in the beginning stages, Josh and I decided to share 10 facts about each of us. I wrote my 10 facts, and Josh actually contributed his own 10 facts as well!! Yay for being involved!!  After you guys finish reading, comment below and tell us some of your own facts/likes/dislikes! I want my audience to be as involved as possible. Well, here we go! (Did anyone else just think of Dora the Explorer when reading that?)

1. I love music!!! This is nothing new for those who know me well. I love any and everything that has to do music. In middle school My chemical Romance was on 24/7. In high school I was addicted to Korean music. Luckily my music likes have expanded since school and I love anything indie/reggae/rock/pop/Disney. I will actually be posting a blog in the near future on some of my favorite playlists this season.
2. I am a hopeless romantic. I am a sucker for a cute story or song! Just take a look at my husband, that is evidence enough.
3. I cry a lot! Recently I have cried with various movies, commercials, and songs. I cry whenever someone even mentions Peter Pan or when the UP song plays.
4. I wish that I was more eccentric! I am a pretty crazy girly girl, but I also like a lot of gothic and darker stuff as well. Just ask my college roommates about hello kitty and my rock music.
5. I am a red head! GINGER POWER! I once had someone call me a unicorn because of my hair color. I was also called ginger cannon and Satan worshiper, but no need to bring that story up!
6. I have high functioning anxiety. This is something that many people do not know about me, but I will be discussing anxiety and how I deal with it as a blog post at a later time.
7. I love to try new things! I have been loving Pennsylvania because everything is new, so I LOVE trying new recipes, restaurants, museums, treats, and unique stores!
8. I love cooking!!!! Josh tells me that his peers at school are always jealous about his lunch! I love cooking and I think I'm starting to get pretty good at it.
9. I love sleep. I can never get enough of it! I would live in my pajamas if I could.
10. If I had the perfect life, I would do everything. I love trying new things, but I also have so many likes and hobbies that it becomes difficult to dedicate my time to everything that I enjoy.

1. I love movies. I use them as a stress relief. (Anna comments: Josh and I have watched movies together since our second date. It has really become something that we really enjoy i.e stranger things/supernatural...everything really).
2. I enlisted in the Idaho National Guard at 17 years old as a combat medic. My contract is actually up this next year, and Anna and I are playing with the thought of joining the Air Force.
3. I served my two year church mission in Guatemala. While I was there, I realized how privileged we are in America and how much I missed carpets and donuts. As soon as I got back to America, I bought some donuts and I laid on the carpet. 
4. I am from a family of 10 kids and three are adopted from Russia. 
5. I love America and guns. (Anna comment: If you didn't know this, do you even know Josh??)
6. I love plain dark chocolate. (Anna comment: I DEFINITELY DO NOT LIKE DARK CHOCOLATE).
7. I would like to travel the world with my wife. I want to go somewhere tropical first.
8. I love dogs and squirrels. I would like both as pets, but squirrels aren't very practical.
9. I'm addicted to the falling sensation. I would like to go base jumping at some point.
10. I am currently trying to survive PA school!!!!!!!

 The Four Tendencies I'm not good with one liners. I know what you're thinking... Granola: The Addiction

  Granola: The Addiction If any of you know me well, you know I like to try new recipes! A few months ago I decided to try and make some Granola because Josh and I love to eat it and it seemed so easy. You could look up any recipe on Pinterest, but some of those granola recipes get rather tedious, so I found the simplest recipe on Pinterest and tweaked it for what I wanted! Underneath this paragraph is the image that I follow off of Pinterest. After you look at the image, check out the other renditions/add ins that I put into my granola! BTW: No one has tried my granola and said that it was not good! Let me know if you try the recipe and what variations you do! My Changes Oil Base: I have tried this recipe using butter/coconut oil and both are fabulous! It is definitely not as healthy with butter, but if you like the rich flavor that butter gives, then you will love it as your oil base. Confessions of a Sick Person

You probably don't know this, but I am sick!!! On Tuesday I woke up with a sore throat and thought that I was fine. I decided to go to work and by the end of my shift I got into the car and had really bad body pains, a headache, I was light headed, having chills, and honestly I felt like I had been run over by a bus.. Not fun!! While driving home I had to keep telling myself "You can do this!!!" I had to say that quite a few times since the rush hour drive from center city to Jenkintown was about an hour. I got home, and let's just say things got worse. I tried taking a bath, that helped for a minute, and then I laid in bed until Josh got home. My fever was over 102 and a few decimals! Luckily I have a great husband and he bought me a coke and one of those gas stations milkshakes that your parents never let you get when you were younger! I know this is probably not the healthiest but the caffeine helped with my head, and the milkshake helped cool my over heating body!...
